Ministry

"My mission is to provide an inviting atmosphere for people to experience meaningful and relevant worship in church, homes and hearts."

Lori Peters first heard God’s calling to His service at age twelve. She served in various mission activities throughout her teenage years. She was very active in piano as well as vocal groups in church and school. She sang solos on a regular basis and in duets and trios. She was also selected for various audition only groups. This laid a foundation for singing and playing for the Lord.

As an adult she continued to serve in her churches’ music programs including mega-churches in Ohio and New Mexico. As she continued to raise her family and support her husband’s Air Force career she searched for the way God desired her to serve beyond a lay leadership role. This search included serving as a youth leader at church and the Director of Client Services at the Albuquerque Pregnancy Center.

In 2004-2005, God began to reveal not only His desire for her career and ministry but to break down the cultural and denominational barriers in her mind. Those barriers had led to years of denying her true calling.

Lori desires to serve the Lord by providing and inviting others to experience meaningful worship in church, at home and in their hearts. She has led worship on a substitute basis in four churches. She formerly served as a worship leader and production director at Solomon’s Porch Community Church in Colorado. Now she serves at Riverside Christian Church in Merrimack, New Hampshire as a worship leader, vocalist and pianist/keyboardist. She has also led worship for Bible studies, retreats, and conferences. She has learned the important technical aspects of the church worship experience such as video, Power Point, lighting, atmosphere construction and sound. She continues to develop her musical skills in keyboard, voice, guitar, electric guitar and violin. Lori networks with other worship leaders through conferences, personal contacts and internet resources.

"Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy." Psalm 33:3

Lori is also active in studying and teaching theology and aplogetics. Her heart for defending the faith motivates her to help others have the information and passion for the same defense of Christianity.

"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect," 1 Peter 3:15

While Lori serves regularly at Riverside Christian, she is available for fill in work for churches as well as retreats and conferences. If you have any questions or would like to contact Lori, please do so at:
